Venerdì 19 e sabato 20 aprile la FLA apre le porte del suo Centro Studi alla cittadinanza
We are a no profit Association, active in the diffusion of the environmental sustainability principles.
Our members are Public entities and no profit Associations interested in finding a good balance between economy, society and environment: Municipalities of Barlassina, Bovisio Masciago, Cesano Maderno, Desio, Meda, Seveso, Varedo; Legambiente Lombardia and Lombardy Foundation for the Environment (FLA).
Together, we cooperate by informing, educating and involving the citizenship, the local enterprises, the schools and the Public Administrations in order to improve the quality of life of the communities living on the territory of Brianza, who share a common cultural identity.
We work daily to meet the desire to change reality towards a more sustainable and more close to human needs way.
We provide our skills in designing and coordinating local actions to stimulate innovation and participation, fostering a multidisciplinary approach and the relationship between different realities in the environmental field.
We focus our actions on people, as the human experiences and the relationships are the basis of sustainability and the environment represents its keystone.
The motto of our practice and daily work is "Sustainable Local Action Moves the World". We believe that each individual must assume a great responsibility: to change their lifestyle starting from the reality they live in; only in this way you can make a change that affects the entire planet.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” (Margaret Mead, anthropologist)
